Walk and Talk for Women
Walk-and-talk is a form of psychotherapy while walking outdoors in public places. New Dawn Counseling offers walk-and-talk sessions as an optional treatment modality. Some clients enjoy the experience of movement while talking or feel more comfortable talking side-by-side, rather than sitting face-to-face. Walk-and-talk sessions can be used intermittently or regularly, and may be discontinued at any time.
Group Counseling for Women
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Group
This group is for any woman struggling with anxiety, depression, toxic stress, or life transitions. Join other women looking to build their skills in Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Emotion Regulation. We'll meet online weekly for six weeks starting in September 2022. Reach out to be added to the interest list for this group.
